Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) spokesperson Sambit Patrata alleged in a press conference that the ruling alliance government in Maharashtra had retaliated against Union Minister Narayan Rane. He also criticized the arrest of Rane as a murder of democracy.

There are 27 ministers in the Mahavikas Aghadi in the state who have been charged with various offenses including corruption. The state government is not taking any action against them. However, Rane is arrested for uttering only a few words. Rane used some words that should have been avoided. But is arresting him is the only tolerance? Is it legal to throw stones at BJP offices and endanger people's lives? Is it legal to file 30-40 cases against a Union Minister for the same reason; He asked.

Maharashtra has a government collecting Rs 100 crore ransom. Out of 42 ministers in the state, 27 are facing serious charges. How many of them were arrested, He also asked such a question. State Minister Anil Parab's black act was published in the media. No action was taken against them. However, the Union Minister is arrested for a statement. This action has brought down the dignity of democracy in Maharashtra.
