Kangana's crooked gaze now on Mahatma Gandhi

Kangana

Mumbai/ Correspondent

The controversy over Kangana's statement on Indian independence has not subsided and she has now started a new controversy by targeting Mahatma Gandhi.  Kangana accused Gandhiji on social media of not supporting Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose or the revolutionary Bhagat Singh.

Kangana's recent statement on Indian independence has sparked outrage. India did not get independence in 1947. What we got was not freedom but begging; She said. The country got true independence in 2014 when the Bharatiya Janata Party came to power under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi; That's what she said. After that, there are demands that she should be charged with treason and her Padma Shri should be revoked.

While the controversy is still simmering, Kangana has leveled allegations against Gandhiji. Kangana has ridiculed Gandhiji's principle of non-violence. What is gained by slapping one cheek and pushing the other is not freedom but begging; That's what she says. She has published a newspaper clipping on Instagram. According to the report, Mahatma Gandhi, Jawaharlal Nehru and Mohammad Ali Jinnah had promised a British judge that if Netaji came to India, he would be handed over to the British.

By publishing this news, Kangana said that; first you have to decide if you are a follower of Gandhiji or Netaji. You cannot be a supporter of both. Choose your leader wisely. These people did not have the ability to fight against their exploiters. Those who fought for freedom; These people handed them over to their owners (British); She has made such allegations against Gandhi supporters. She also claimed that there are evidence to prove that Gandhiji wanted Bhagat Singh to be hanged.

There is a need to understand the history and the deeds of our heroes during this period. It is foolish to keep them in a corner of your memory and pay homage to the anniversary once a year.  It is irresponsibility and is ingratitude, she added.
